About Kiltarlity Hall

Kiltarlity Hall was built in 1998 and is run for the benefit of the community by Kiltarlity Hall Association, registered Scottish Charity no. SC023358. The facilities we have are the main / sports hall (full badminton court size), a stage which can be closed off and used as a separate meeting or activity area and a recently refurbished kitchen, toilets and disabled toilet. There is an additional meeting room in the upstairs annexe which has its own toilet facilities. There is also a PA system and the entire premises has been recently redecorated throughout.

An Ideal Venue For…

Indoor Sports

The hall is a full badminton court size, with floor markings for badminton and basketball (hoops and backboards on the end walls). The cushioned vinyl surface is non-slip and ideal for most indoor sports.

Small Meetings

There is a small meeting room in the first floor annex which can accommodate meetings for up to 20. Please discuss your requirements with the secretary when you wish to make a booking.

Parties

The hall can accommodate up to 100 seated. The kitchen has a large serving hatch to the main hall. There is a PA system with wireless microphone and a music player input (iPhone, iPod, etc.).

Weddings

The main hall has full disabled access and can accommodate 100 people seated at tables. Please discuss your requirements with the secretary when you wish to make a booking.

Clubs

The hall has been and continues to be used for a wide range of clubs and indoor activities, such as Beavers, SWRI, Playgroup / Toddlers, Youth Club, indoor shinty, badminton, craft class, tai chi, yoga, and keep fit classes.

Dances

The hall can take a maximum of 160 for a dance, with 80 seated round the sides of the hall, leaving the floor area clear for dancing.

Concerts & Live Performances

The main hall can accommodate a maximum seated audience of 120 and there is a fully curtained stage . The in-house PA has a radio microphone and a music player input. A larger mixer can be hooked up to our 600w amplifier if needed.
